Paul Gilbert guitar tones with the Fender Tonemaster Pro

This is a great little series that you are doing, I won't request any players for now, I'm sure you get enough of that as it is. Hopefully over time you can cover them all. The demo at the start, and showing how the preset was made.. it's all good stuff. The playing is good, the tone is good, and you're demo'ing this Fender unit very well.. it should help grow your channel when you hit all of these different "famous" players over time.

Thanks Jon, really appreciate the encouraging comment, I was worried that I would get a lot of negative comments around not quite getting the tones close enough but the TMP community seems to be a very positive bunch so far!

I've damaged my hearing a little over the years so it is very possible that I'm not hearing the higher frequencies (ironic on a PG preset 😁) so it might just need the mic moving back to the cap edge position? Thanks for the feedback 👍

I haven't no, but there's plenty of people on the "Fender Tone Master Pro" and "Fender Tone Master Pro User Group" Facebook groups who are posting their reviews of how their gigs went and it's been mostly positive, in fact I think the negatives are mainly around system crashes which may have been fixed in the latest firmware updates

@@JonsGuitarGarage Thanks for the info. I’ll check those out. System crashes is a deal breaker so hopefully that is fixed. I guess combo amps and heads can go down too lthough.
