Paul Gilbert guitar tones with the Fender Tonemaster Pro

This preset for the Fender Tonemaster Pro is a generic Paul Gilbert style tone and is entirely my interpretation rather than being 100% the same as one of the many many recordings that Paul has appeared on. I feel that his sound has changed a fair amount over the years but he always has a few effects that are part of his signature sound.
As always please tweak this preset to suit your guitar or personal taste. My ears are not your ears and you might find that you prefer a different mic placement for example.

I've damaged my hearing a little over the years so it is very possible that I'm not hearing the higher frequencies (ironic on a PG preset 😁) so it might just need the mic moving back to the cap edge position? Thanks for the feedback 👍

I haven't no, but there's plenty of people on the "Fender Tone Master Pro" and "Fender Tone Master Pro User Group" Facebook groups who are posting their reviews of how their gigs went and it's been mostly positive, in fact I think the negatives are mainly around system crashes which may have been fixed in the latest firmware updates

@@JonsGuitarGarage Thanks for the info. I’ll check those out. System crashes is a deal breaker so hopefully that is fixed. I guess combo amps and heads can go down too lthough.
