Hands down the Yankees have had the better off season so far. Yes the Mets signed the better player overall but him alone isn't going to make them serious contenders. Not to say the Yankees are guaranteed to win the world series but nobody should be surprised if they at least make it there again.

One trade away for a 3b or 2b and this is the best offseason** of my life. Remember we’ve given up a grand total of ZERO top ten prospects so far. Yankee fans need to realize how much more well rounded this lineup is vs the top heavy of last year with nothing behind them. Also…starting pitching and bullpen depth? Yeesh. Im pumped

Rice will not platoon with Goldschmidt. Cabrera will be the back up when Goldy is not playing. Why use a roster spot for a backup 1B only
