I think the life must to be observed in a positive way: as you highlight his "fails", you must remember his great actions are bigger than his fails and this is more important. About Jimmy, probably Paul felt he musn't to stay in his funeral because they used to work together, but they're not close or friends. There's no obbligation about go to funerals of people you don't really know well... stop to believe it was necessary for Jimmy's family the presence of Paul. Also remember Paul even didn't go to his dad's funeral which it can be a reason about paul don't like these type of events...

In 1968 and a young teen I hung around with a schoolfriend outside Paul's house in London hoping to see him. Little Heather was there with nanny and the dog Martha. I think she was lonely because she was happy to chat to us through the answerphone on the gate. We went back for a few days and bought her presents from The Portobello Road. She had a cute little American accent and thanked us for the pressies( cheap and cheerful tat)which she opened one by one. A dear little girl.lovely to see her!

In the "Let It Be" movie, a 6 year old Heather is seen with Linda in the studio while the Beatles were rehearsing. Since John was bringing Yoko with him to the studio, Paul decided to do the same thing. There's a cute shot where Heather banged on one of Ringo's cymbals, causing mock surprise by Ringo.

Really nice! Never saw Heather being interviewed before. She seems just as lovely as the rest of the family. Paul is really a wonderful dad. Very supportive of all of his children, without pushing them one way or the other. I guess he's doing what his own dad Jim did for him & his brother when they were young. Made me think of my own wonderful dad, who sadly passed away 4 years ago. He wasn't rich, but in the end it's only the love care and attention that counts. Nobody can ever take that away.

it's really precious how all the children's Paul dedicated their professional lives to things they used to see at home: Heather got dedicate to designe house stuff: Linda was an lovely housewife who enjoyed decorate her house , very careful with the details and make the house more comfy and warm for the home family. Mary is photographer as her mom who used to enjoy taking pics of the family and the nature. Linda always tried to catch the esence of the moment. Also, Mary is vegetarian cooker like her mom too and it's really wonderful she understood the message of her parents about compassion to the animals since her childhood. Stella is a fashion designer and in a interview, he said her influence was her mom because she used to dressed up with hilarious outfits. Like her mother, he isn't just a fashion designer but also she try to do her collections taking care of the planet: using sustainable materials for the clothes and spread the message of make clothes with responsibility. James is songwriter and his influence for learn how to play was Michael J. Fox in the Back to the future movie but we can't deny he had the big influence close to him: his father who used to play the guitar and sing at home all the time and also probabbly, Paul was a amazing teacher for him! About his last daughter (or son, I don't know what's the correct option because there's a rumour that it says she had decided to be man and being called by the name of Benedict...) there's not too much info about her/his but anyway, she will probably choose her/his own way.

It is nice the kids all work, but they only got the opps cos of their dad. I don't think Mary would make millions out of her photography, and James as a 'musician', or Stella's designing, if they were out on their own. I always wonder if you put Stella's clothes on a rack in Primark, and NO LABEL, what folks would really pay for it. The quality and design would just mingle in with all the other stuff on sale, and no-one would pay the price she asks if her name were not on the label.

Because of him and his fortune, they could want whatever they want, according to their dreams. However, we must accept they have talent in the things they do so it's not enough born in a rich family, but also having talent and develop your own skills and they did it.

The Daily Mail often does articles on famous people's kids, and the nepotism which allow s them to get on in life, with no looks or talent whatsoever. Also, Stella's fashion shows have top models in them; Yasmin Le Bon, Kate Moss, etc. Ordinary designers with no connections would not have these famous names in the front row. She trained at a famous French fashion house. Again, the likes of you or I would not have these areas opened to us, because were are nobodies! You simply can't say she had no privileges, and the blind tests still stands, would anyone buy her clothes with her name on them? Put them in New Look and see what folks are willing to pay for them.

His son, James has a very private life since few years ago after his promotions of his solo music career and about Heather, there's no interviews since 2000 I think so. Her life is so private because it's a mistery if she has children, her current profession, if she has a good relationship with Paul and her siblings...

If you look at clips from the documentary 'Get Back', you will see Heather, around age 5, having fun in the recording studio with Paul. They were really sweet together. She also played Ringo's drums, and he laughed with her. George and John were a little distant. Heather also reacted to Yoko warbling away in the studio, with a sly, wonderful eye roll. Very perceptive of that little girl.

When I was in the US Air Force in England between 1980-82 we used to get Stars &Stripes, a newspaper. In the back were listings for people looking for penpals. (Yes, people actually sat down with a pen and paper back then). Anyway, one month there was an ad saying, "My name is Heather, looking for American penpals. #3 Cavendish Ave London" I saved the paper for a while and actually wrote a couple drafts of letters but never posted them. I even knew at the time that the address was Paul McCartney's St. John's Wood address in London. Stupid me.

Linda divorced Heather's dad when Heather was not quite 3. They moved away from Arizona where he was and went to NYC. Heather didn't even remember her biological father and has only known Paul as her father. Heather was in regular contact with her biological father. The People article on Linda's death reported that she called him to let him know about Linda's death. As to why he allowed Paul to legally adopt Heather, I don't know. As to using the McCartney name (1) it is legally her name and (2) growing up, it would give her the same surname as her siblings who were the products of Paul and Linda's marriage.

Heather's dad was out of her life when she was 18 months old. Paul legally adopted her when Heather was 6. She regained a relationship with her biological dad in the 80s. Sadly, Her biological dad died only 2 months after her mum. Very sad. Lucky she had 2 loving parents in her life....and yes.....She sure does look like her mum. In the 60s it was frowned upon to even be a single divorced parent with a child, yet she married a Beatle. That is love. I have even more respect for Paul.
