@JustineDodd and here I was thinking I'm the only one who still cries over his death. Yesterday was the 18th anniversary of him leaving us all. 🙏 🕯 🕊

I love when Paul quotes John Lennon. Thanks for uploading this.

Wow :( That bothered me seeing him so miserable. But as a fellow depression sufferer I understand it.

Same here. I've had depression all my life so I know how Paul felt. There are times when you just don't want to be around people.

Sorry Paul had to endure this at a time when he seemed so vulnerable.

Paul just wanted to go home at this point.... He left in 94 before a show in atlanta and Neil had to drum
@scottrutherford75847 жыл бұрын
He quit and played the show. There's a bootleg of it around called Paul is Dead. Neil didn't drum at all. The next night they used Sheryl Crowes drummer.

If you read the biography Something So Strong you'll see that Neil in fact did get on the kit the first show after Paul left. The night after that they got a replacement drummer.

You said Neil had to drum for the Atlanta gig, now you were saying for the first gig after Paul left. I think you need to read the biography again. I will quote form the book... From the moment the concert opened with 'Kare Kare' an extra intensity and focus was apparent. There was an edgy commitment to Paul's drumming..."In a funny way," says Paul, "me going to them before the show provided the gig with an incredible impetus of real emotion. It came out int he songs, and the saw a dozen. We had a lot of things going on that night." So that's Paul drumming the gig the night he quit. As for the gig after... "Wally Ingram, drummer with the support act Sheryl Crow, enthusiastically agreed to fill in. "It was a do-or-die thing, but it was definitely a day of neurosis for me.' Luckily he had been enjoying watching Paul's drumming over the last few weeks, 'and the band is so tight, you just sort of jump on and go for the ride.'

sorry you are correct i was thinking about another show before the Atlanta gig sometime where Neil & Paul had a spat. I'm not sure which gig but i saw Neil talking about it on an interview one time.

Perhaps appearing on this sort of amateurish rubbish is what lead Paul to leave the band shortly after.

@dicky466 there were lots of reasons, for sure - and i wouldn't mind better that this sort of shite was one of them....

@trbarret Probably because there is no such thing as deities. Time ot catch up as this is the 21st century. Science has or will have all the answers.
