Hindemith ist ein bestes Beispiel für interessante musikalische Überraschungen und plötzlich auftretende Wendungen. Das macht seine Kompositionen so unglaublich interessant.

Never really took the time to appreciate Hindemith. This opened my eyes. Energetic and vibrant. Thanks for the upload!

nice, I was actually planning to upload this a long time ago lol (though I was planning to use the Christoph Eschenbach recording). Glad to finally see a score video of it! Thanks!

Wow. This piece from 1922 sounds like a very clear mash-up of Stravinsky's "Petrouchka" (1911) and his "L'Histoire du soldat" (1918) - "Petrouchka and a Soldier have a Love Child" perhaps?

Probably my favourite Hindemith piece. I actually have a hard time listening to his other pieces, even though I'd be curious to try more. Any suggestions, anybody?

Viola Sonata Nr. 1 op. 25, 2 Stücke für Orgel, In einer Nacht für Klavier op. 15, Trio for Heckelphone, Viola and Piano op. 47 and Mathis der Maler Sinfonie would come to mind

I agree, probably my favourite Hindemith piece too, it's a masterpiece. Anyway I suggest other masterpieces: Symphonia Serena, Ludus Tonalis for piano, Harmonie der welt, Symphonic metamorphosis.

Chronologically speaking, Zappa sounds like Hindemith.
