Hi Paul, Pretty interesting. Like the capabilities this 'yacht' would have. I would keep the hospital room and would Upgrade it. There are not many yachts around which have a hospital room. Which I find a bit ashame, Especially on the huge yachts, which should have the space. Now I 'only' need to win the Jackpot when it's full. Hence will be only a dream...

There are some excellent 50-meter patrol boats and fast crew supply boats that are excellent conversion platforms.

As a support vessel, or research vessel conversion the cost might be under $20m. As a fully finished expedition yacht, you'd probably be at $25-30m, depanding largely on the level of finish of the interior spaces. A European yacht new-build with similar capabilities would cost at least $90 million.

Plenty. We have 2 in conversion now- but many of the most renowned expedition yachts are conversions.

The prices on commercial vessels correlate to the charter 'day-rate'. This one is presently priced at approx. $6 million, as-is. And it has not been sold yet.
