McCartney just keeps on amazing me. The most talented person rock/pop has produced. That’s just a fact Jack.

I have had this song in my head for a whole week straight. All he ever needs is a piano or a guitar and that flawless voice. Shivers. The vocals are unreal.

I think this song is awesome, it has this ''Raw'' effect of song, it brings to my mind, ''She's So Heavy'' from The Beatles, and about the lyrics, well i can picture the song in my mind, and its pretty sad, about the hunger and how he needs to steal the bread for his mother...but yeah its only an opinion, Have a nice day! :)

On the live version... This song slows WAY down as the song progresses. Is this on purpose? I can't imagine Paul letting this go this way by mistake. Anyone have any ideas?

Must be something wrong with the tape. Use the "play at 1.25 speed" option to hear it at around its real speed.

The first picture that comes out at the beginning of the video, where does it come from?
@pierrepetit24485 жыл бұрын
I recognised his Scottish farm in the background and after some research I found out that it came from a 1969 footage filmed by reporters who were thrown off McCartney's farm while attempting to film him. In the picture he is basically telling the journalists to leave.

I undestand that in 1972 this song is sung in another vocal tone but it¨s the same voice?? I would doubt.

How have I managed to stumble across a Paul song I've never heard? Probably better left off the album. Nothing too incredible.

Strange song, lyrics are not good if anybody else put out this song people wouldn't listen. Paul could build a song up from a toilet flushing n people would buy it. Lol. I DO LOVE PM BUT NOT THIS MESS. RAMBLING LYRICS. Hope to never hear it again!

This song is literally a reference to slavery and how a boy steals bread for his mom and is killed for it. It’s not rambling.
