It is a truth universally acknowledged that Mr. MaCcartney is one of the few musical geniuses alive. I fell in love with him when I had no conscience of myself, the first day my 16 year old brother played a Beatles record...and that was in May 1968. I've always been in love with him. Thanks Paul for your words and music. Winter eve's wouldn't have been so sweet without you! With all my respect,

God I love him, and his song too! He is amazing artist. Several years ago, while I was attending in grad school in America, I travelled England for spring break, I got to have a chance to taste English tea. And it was great! Now I am in Korea, and I don't drink English tea, instead, I drink green tea.

Such a tranquil feel to this song. It brings you into the soul of his music ability for a cup of tea, pun sorta intended.But you really feel an artist constructing this peaceful country meadow around you and you can't help but ask for some sugar.

English Tea is SUCH a Beatles song. It would have been a Paul song that John would have hated but we'd all love, i.e. When I'm 64. Paul just doesn't get enough credit for his solo work. Put the name "Beatles" on it and suddenly everyone loves it.

@Blacky4744 ай бұрын
@@tieukhavu8832I enjoyed Wings every bit as much as I did the Beatles. McCartney his first solo album was great & McCartney 2 was even better, Coming Up was awesome, Even John loved that one.

When i hear a paul song on the radio its either beatles or wings. Play some recent work of paul mccartney. The stations i listen to well they don't play new songs only the classic rock songs but i can't listen to the stations that play today's music cause the music they play is terrible, No Paul McCartney.

The word gay is used differently in the UK, to mean weak, limp, lacklustre, but you would not know that, so you are excused. One thing I am not, is prejudiced, but it matters little what you think, Viking boy. But anyway, enjoy Sir Paul's continuing output, and sorry for doubting the quality o f the great one's work.

This sounds like something he might have written in 1967 but Lennon made so much fun of it he shelved it for 40 years. Moon, June, spoon, croon, Gawd give me a break. The man should retire before he completely becomes a joke. There is truth in the adage, get off while you're on top.

This is the very last song that can be described as "awesome". You need to acquire taste. PM has produced some excellent material over the years, but also some dire rubbish (anyone remember Mary Had a Little Lamb?). This song is truly abysmal.

Sorry everyone. I am a big fan of The Beatles for over 40 years, but this is just embarassing. A typical example of what he would NOT have got away with if The Beatles hadnt split up. I have the DVD of this concert and the crowd reaction is markedly lower in noise to this than the rest of the set. Trying to write another 'Honey Pie' but no John to veto the lyrics !
@mwingereza15 жыл бұрын
I think most music lovers don't know (or care) about chromatic basslines, but the song is gay, there are no two ways about it. The lyrics are wet. And this is coming from someone who can achieve so much more. Please, this is just awful.
