My daughter has 2 tickets for the Gold Coast show not far from the stage, as I gather this could be his last time in Australia performing live. I hope I live to 81 let alone perform at this level. He has always been a hard worker in this industry. Even when he was with the Beatles he was the one to get things rolling in the later years and always business minded. Totally true to the Art.

Right? You can see that his spirit is 100% still there. Dude has hardly lost a step, and if you disagree then watch Wings' One Hand Clapping to compare. Same guy. But his voice (and probably limbs) are less immune to age, and I may feel like an ass for saying it, but this tour-at 80, which is a feat-is the first time I've ever heard him ever really *fail* at singing. He's always nailed every song every other time, so this is significant IMO. I wish Paul the best, but I hope for his sake that he retires before he starts inevitably beating himself up about missing notes.

@@LetterNumberPeriodDashUndersco i agree but i think as long as he's healthy enough to tour, he'll keep going. i dont think he wants to admit he's losing it even though we all can hear it. Whenever that time comes, he's had one hell of a run!

He's got the will but the voice isn't there anymore. As long as people will go...he'll be there but the age is catching up.
