Yes. I have always felt that about Paul He seems nice, kind and genuine. I have heard to the contrary. I clean for a lady who has become a friend and she knew them all back in Liverpool. Her best friend was Cynthia's best friend at art school. She prefers John. I think John was hard-edged, sarcastic and unkind. Paul was emollient and people maybe saw that as dishonest. But he was the one who visited Cynthia when John had left her for Yoko and wrote Hey Jude for Julian. Also Paul founded a lovely family, didn't he? and Linda was a lovely lady.

This is my favorite of Paul's post- Beatles songs. Layering tracks of piano, organ, bass, drums, harmonies and vocals, there is an energy in this tune that is palpable.The guitar solo is great, the semi-tone run-up a fantastic hook, the vocal is fab! @@clothilde1623 No way! George had a nasal tone, poor articulation, and no range at all. Paul's voice was clear as a bell on balads as well as gravely and throaty on songs like "Helter Skelter and "Why Don't we do it in the Road". Paul Simon had a sweet, pure sound like Paul, but couldn't do the rock stuff. I'm open to friendly rebuttals.
@clothilde1623 Жыл бұрын
@@markrobinson2514 You have to account for personal taste, mister. I’m not denying that Paul is an excellent vocalist, but there’s something about his tone that I’m just not overly fond of, whereas _for me_ George’s tone is just gorgeous, especially on some of his solo songs such as _Beware Of Darkness_ (the acoustic version where he was unaware he was being recorded). And I completely refute your allegation that his tone is “nasal”! If you’d said it about Lennon then I could perhaps understand why, but not George. Likewise, I have absolutely no problem understanding his lyrics so thoroughly disagree that his articulation is in any way lacking!

Paul did truly love her with all his heart and soul, like I do my second wife today. It's a rare feeling as it grabs your entire being and you can only want to do good for/by her. This I learned from Paul and thank him for it.
@stacyroberts61595 жыл бұрын
Wow totally amazing thank you so much for this song it is outstanding the lyrics are off the chart and are the bomb. Only if we could feel that love he has for her and him his son. Been married for 21 years would give anything if my husband would feel that way about me may you all feel like one day and never feel alone keep rocking 🎸🎶 in passing okay love on two others 🎭✝️✌️😍😍💞💓 😘 and may you all feel loved every single day. Even on the worst day I know there's people out there who loved you may you have a great life and dance forever peace out 🎸🎶🎭✌️☮️🌎😘😁🐸💃🌺🍀

He wasn't even the most talented man in his group!

Yeah, he was. As a musician, he was more skilled than the others. Arguably their best guitarist. Definitely their best keyboard player.

But Lennon had the most soul! I'd rather listen to John's or George's solo albums than Paul's.
@carlweaver32435 жыл бұрын
While he may not have been lyricly as good as Lennon, he was absolutely more melodic than John in his songwriting. But they were all great. That's why they're the best.

Linda is his soulmate, he actually wrote this song because she helped him grieve his mother's passing, she's the reason he's a vegetarian, she is the most important person he ever knew, and the great love of his life, when Paul gets to heaven which I hope is many years from now they will be reunited in heaven for eternal bliss in each other's arms.
