Finally a good quality of one of the funniest inteviews with Paul, which I've seen many times. Paul's slight embarrassment and George Martin's chuckles on a couple of occasions are the best thing. I especially love him laughing a little when Paul's asked about how he maintains the top position for so long. (and of course the Russel! one. But everyone would giggle at this :)) It shows the friendship and respect between George M and Paul. Thanks for posting!

I was smiling quite widely watching this esp the studio part... when I saw George! & Paul adjusting the controls for the song, I was like oh.. so this was somehow the Beatles (though now it's Paul here only) could have been like when discussing the music in the studio with George back then... & then the interviewer bringing in the tea for them & learning what is & how the mixing board works (there is a tabla in the song??!! So cool!!) Which is so cute.... George being amused watching the interview being curious abt the mixing board... Paul giving the interviewer encouragement.. and then Paul was asked how he stayed looking young...😅😅real nice vid post, Kitsu, thnx!!!👍🌸🌈

@@Gabriel_707 as far as I can count : early beatles, moptop Beatles, 67 short hair, 68-69 long hair, "McBeardy", Ram short hair, mullet (73 to 78 with short hair interruption in-between), 79 short hair, coming up, pipes of peace, broadstreet, classic grownup McCartney mullet until 1997, then short hair until around 2012 when a slightly shorter version of his mullet came to stay

@ Also around 1990 he had long hair which I think are different from the mullet, a couple of times moustaches, in 1974 also the thing under his bottom lip. Early beatles count as the banana hairstyle typical of the 50's. Then this kind of corean style in the 80's. Paul changed quite a bit of looks, but nowhere near as others like Prince for instance. Paul also changed hair color from dark to light brown and today white.

"Pipes Of Peace" LP was Released in UK and US on November 30th 1983 , 10 years later than " Band On The Run" . So if you see it the color and the Early Beatles Paul's Hair Cut is the same image on the "Waterfalls" video. So This Probably was filmed at the End 1980 or Winter 1981. 🤔👍

Nah, he just got the same style haircut a few years later. In fact, the 1983 version is actually shorter than his haircut on 'Waterfalls' if you compare the two. Also, he was in his 'preppie' phase in '82/'83.
