Ooh Life goes on day after day Hearts torn in every way So ferry cross the Mersey, 'Cause this lands the place I love And here I'll stay. People they rush everywhere Each with their own secret care So ferry cross the Mersey And always take me there The place I love. Oh, people around every corner They seem to smile and say "We don't care what your name is, boy, we'll never turn you away". So I'll continue to say Here's where I always will stay So ferry cross the Mersey 'Cause this land's the place I love And here I'll stay. Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh Mm-mm-mm-mm Oo Life goes on day after day Ooh, hearts torn in every way So ferry cross the Mersey 'Cause this land's the place I love And here I'll stay Woh, here I'll stay Here I'll stay This land and place we love Ferry cross the Mersey 'Cause this land is the place we love So ferry cross the Mersey So ferry cross the Mersey 'Cause this land's the place I love And here I'll stay, Yeah.

Mick, thanks. The tragedy was 96 people, including children, went to watch Liverpool play Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough on 15th April 1989 but were killed in a crush in the stands, so never went home sadly. The families have been fighting for justice ever since :-(

+Domine Wimbury I am sorry this took so long t answer , it was posted as a "comment" anot a reply. Thank you for the Info. It is devastating. When such tragedies occur while people are celebrating. It is a mystery to me when people get caught in a situation like that because the design of the venues were never revised , or the structure is not given a once over YEARLY. Of course it is all abut the money. The young F1 driver Jules Bianchi was killed in Japan , because the track owners wanted to start cleaning the track befire the race ended and had a CRANE a foot away from the track and the young man was almost decapitated. Reason .... Not paying for extra time after the race. I put this vis a vis the 9/11/01 tragedy and how New Yorkers behaved and I still cry . The upserge of humanity , the stories of people dying helping others. Brits are some of my favorite people on earth . I don't think they make them better . I love every second I spend in the UK . Now that Europe is in a Religious turmoiil , Ill be honest I care little about the Nordic countries but the UK .. man THAT hurts me. I do hope some consolation has been found and that closure has been reached. I wish you ALL the best!

FERRY CROSS MERSEY nová verzia piesne Gerry Marsdena nar. Na b strane singlu bola skladba Abide With Me. V tlačenici bolo usmrtených 94 divákov a 766 bolo zranených. Prvý krát to bola You LL Never Walk Alone v súvislosti s požiarom tribuny na štadione v Bradforde v roku 1985.
@13towerofpower10 жыл бұрын
V roku 1985 produkovali Dead Or Alive, v roku 1987 Mel and Kim,Ferry Aid a Ricka Astleyho vyrovnaný rekord Martina z roku 1963, v roku 1988 Kylie a v roku 1989 celkom sedem hitov pre Kylie, Jasona, Soniu, Band Aid II a tento hit.

I understand that a lot of people are downloading Gerry and the Pacemakers You'll Never Walk Alone this week following the latest Hillsborough report, but I'd prefer to be able to download this if possible as it was made for the occasion, and was number 1 in 1989 shortly after.
