Hi, I watched this video straight through because I like seeing the evolution of all the records. I have always wanted to make a video like this myself, but I have been waiting a long time until I can get every single official Paul release and not leave any holes. As you know, it's not easy and it can be expensive to get some albums.

Hi! Yeah, some of Paul's albums are very difficult (and expensive) although I just thought I'd go ahead and show what I had as I doubt I'll be picking anymore of them up in the near future. Thanks so much for watching (especially all in one go, haha!) Take care : )

Re -The McCartney Interview Album. I had this in the 80's (not now sadly - it's in storage somewhere, I know not where!). It was recorded just before Lennon's re-emergence with Double Fantasy and subsequent death. Which puts it somewhere in the historic category I think. For me, the best thing about the label is that I've finally found out what MPL stands for - Musician, Player and Listener! I never noticed that before your video, and I've always wondered.

Hi, Mark! Thanks for the info on the interview album. I'd never actually noticed that on the label either, so that was something new for me too. : )

Hi, Brad! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I can understand the idea of a McCartney 3 being released in 1990 and I think that would have been a good idea. Thanks so much for watching, take care! : )

Also, the photos included in the Band On The Run LP were taken in Lagos, Nigeria, which is where the album was recorded. There's a great interview on YT called Paul McCartney 2016 05 24 Mastertapes Special [BBC Radio 4] where he talks about recording Band On The Run in Nigeria. It's an absolutely great interview, and Paul comes across as really nice. Certainly I wasn't aware that he'd co-written some songs with Kanyé West before today, but he has!

Thanks for clarifying that for me. The thing I like about Paul is that he tends to come across very well in the interviews that I've seen of him. Thanks so much for watching, take care! : )

Great collection. You are lucky to have the rarer vinyl releases as they are not cheap. Surprised you only had one of the "archive series" albums. Will you get them at some point.

Hi. I was fortunate enough to find some of his rarer albums for good prices over the last couple of years, although there are still several more to get. I don't tend to go for the reissue to be honest. The only reason I have the archive edition of Band on the Run is because it came in a bundle with some other albums. They are very nice though. Thanks so much for watching, take care! : )
