A little story about this song that people might not have heard before. Abbey Road studios 1969. Billy Kinsley( The Merseybeats) is working in a nearby studio. He walked past the studio that The Beatles were currently recording in. Billy and Paul knew each from their Cavern Club days.. Paul was on his own playing the drums in an otherwise empty studio. Billy said he stood in the doorway and listened as McCartney sang over and over again ‘ You never give me your money, you only give me your funny paper’, as he played a beat on the drums. Kinsley thought to himself that’s a bloody weird song as he made his way to his own studio.. When ‘ Abbey Road ‘was released months later it all became clear. He was witnessing the genesis of a masterpiece!

I love Paul. Have seen him 17 times from 1993-2019. I've loved each concert. Saw him up close a few times in the limo watch. I am tired of hearing fans put down his voice. Let me ask you this - could you do what he's doing at 79, soon to be 80? Performing and touring? Before you critique him, think about that. I'm in my 60s and there are times I can barely make it to my kitchen from tge living room. Lol. I admire him so much. He's so inspiring. Let him enjoy what he loves. He's been doing this since he was a kid. Sadly, one day there will be no Paul. Think about that!

Do I need to point out that the most beautiful part (IMHO) of You Never Give Me Your Money (the first minute...you never give me your money, you only give me your funny paper) was not played?

It is always great to see Paul McCartney...but turning 80 is not a good thing for any performer. Voice is gone. Can't move so well on the stage. No one wants to see him grow old. I would prefer him to do ONE last show live for all to see on HULU or Netflix and call it a most wonderful career.

McCartney looks 50-ish here and his voice is sounding better; DEMENTIA-joe biden looks/sounds 80-ish.

The video is really good. The sound crew really sucks. Sure, Paul is old now, but that's no excuse for horrible sound-stage work.
