To also think about it as the last thing the 4 of them ever did also is powerful. I sometimes still cry when the world is blue… but even more so when I think about these guys and what they had… and just how much different the world would have been without them!

@@barbarabaldwin7120 He is a little flat in terms of pitch throughout the concert examples that I have heard. That being said it's Paul McCartney. He deserves a little leeway given the way he sang for the majority of his career. People want to thank him for 60 years of great music. That is more important than how he sounds at 80. Jon Bon Jovi has considerably less voice left than Paul and he is 20 years younger. 20 years ago Paul was still able to sing as though it was 1975 and Wings was on tour.

A little story about this song that people might not have heard before. Abbey Road studios 1969. Billy Kinsley( The Merseybeats) is working in a nearby studio. He walked past the studio that The Beatles were currently recording in. Billy and Paul knew each from their Cavern Club days.. Paul was on his own playing the drums in an otherwise empty studio. Billy said he stood in the doorway and listened as McCartney sang over and over again ‘ You never give me your money, you only give me your funny paper’, as he played a beat on the drums. Kinsley thought to himself that’s a bloody weird song as he made his way to his own studio.. When ‘ Abbey Road ‘was released months later it all became clear. He was witnessing the genesis of a masterpiece!

SNL had a bit where someone was getting the "five timers club" jacket Alec Baldwin made a cameo, and they didn't tell him Sir Paul was going to be on too. McCartney comes on the screen and Alec is frozen, in awe and can't say his lines. It was very neat.(even f you don't like Alec Baldwin). So, even the biggest stars and egos can be star struck by a Beatle.

Have you ever listened to anyone live under the microscope, it can all sound a bit flat and sharp. Go to the concert and you’ll hear how good it sounds like live. His tickets sell out in minutes, so as long as people want to go who the hell is anyone to criticise. I’d love to hear these people who criticise so much get up on that stage and sing.

I love Paul. Have seen him 17 times from 1993-2019. I've loved each concert. Saw him up close a few times in the limo watch. I am tired of hearing fans put down his voice. Let me ask you this - could you do what he's doing at 79, soon to be 80? Performing and touring? Before you critique him, think about that. I'm in my 60s and there are times I can barely make it to my kitchen from tge living room. Lol. I admire him so much. He's so inspiring. Let him enjoy what he loves. He's been doing this since he was a kid. Sadly, one day there will be no Paul. Think about that!

I think it´s time to give more interviews on all his phonografic career , which is eternal .

This is the very likely last time we'll see him on stage, we're lucky he was up for it. He knows he's not sounding great. Doing it the best he can, that's how he's always done it, and it works for me. Go Paul!

It doesn't even matter if his voice is shot, what matters the most is he chooses to grace all of us with his celestial presence. He is at the point where just showing up is enough to bless the whole lot of people attending his show. People don't realize what they have until it just disappears forever. He is the most beautiful thing right now on our planet. I am from Pakistan and have tried twice to get the US visa only to see him play live (at whatever ticket price) just for once before he leaves for his final abode, but unfortunately got my visa application rejected by consular officer. I wish I could just see him once, feel his presence around me just for once.

His amazing bass playing is on full display here, and he's singing at the same time, not as strong as before but still in key. The guy is 80, he's making adjustments as needed, and he's the greatest pop songwriter of all time.

The bands starts into She Came in Through the Bathroom Window like a they have an urgent appointment right after the concert. Considering these guys don't do much besides practicing Paul's stuff all day it's a mystery how they would screw this transition up so badly.

At one time, I believe he was one of the worlds best singers! He did so much with his voice. Maybe that's why it is the way it is today. I know he's 80 but, look at singer "Tom Jones" he's 82 and sounds like a young man... But Paul, he did do a lot of screaming, from "Long Tall Sally" and "Helter Skelter" How about "Monkberry Moon Delight!" Wow.. He can sing!

I’m 66 I remember hauling butt from from school cause Abby road had just come out and my buddy’s older sister had just bought the album. Holy crap I will never forget…What a record!!! I thought this was the coolest song, Man they are the greatest band of all time. I don’t even refer to them as the Beatles any more it’s just simply John, Paul, George and Ringo if you don’t know the names you need to head back to Mars where your from, oh wait everybody on that planet knows those four names too lol. Didn’t NASA blast off some probe or something many years ago in hopes that if there’s life out there they’ll find it? Well guess who’s music made it on there you got it John Paul George and Ringo lol.

I think he sounds great. Shit I can't sing that well at 50. The only scary part for me is his face. He's getting the old mega rich face. Work. Lots of work. Please don't start to look artificial. You're 80. Grow old gracefully. No one cares about your "looks" at this point.👍🏻

It is always great to see Paul McCartney...but turning 80 is not a good thing for any performer. Voice is gone. Can't move so well on the stage. No one wants to see him grow old. I would prefer him to do ONE last show live for all to see on HULU or Netflix and call it a most wonderful career.
