Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to driving under the influence of alcohol in May.
Judge Joseph Solga sentenced Pelosi to five days in jail but he will receive credit for two days already served and two days for conduct credit. His remaining one day will be served through a court work program. Pelosi will be on probation for three years and pay upwards of $1,700 in fines.

The "two days" that he served, were actually the 3 hours he was there while they were processing him - like 11:50pm that night, till like 3:00am or so. So once it turned midnight, it became a new calendar day. There's the "two days."

This is a pretty standard punishment to a first time misdemeanor DUI with a guilty plea where no serious injuries occurred. In 40 years of LE I have never seen this type of incident prosecuted as a felony. The sentence was according to law.

I've been to jail in intake for longer than 2 days.. Let alone the fact that that is the quickest good behavior shortening of a sentence to date.. Granted good behavior after 2 days? You can get 2 days of good behavior out of almost any inmate. Why are you not reducing all of their sentences? They don't have the stock portfolio he does, that's why!
