When you listen really closely the moment he made the shot, the announcer said "Paul piece for threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" making it sound like he's from the home team. Kinda subtle but it gave me goosebumps. What a career.

As New Englanders, we should never forget this incredible moment from one of our greatest athletes, Paul Pierce, as a preamble to the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history and final chapter in the nationwide persecution of our GREATEST athlete, Tom Brady.

I have a hat signed by Paul Pierce at my aunt's breast cancer awareness event in 2010 and I still have it today but I never wear it out! I didn't even know he played with the Celtics back in '98 because I never paid attention to basketball growing up but i started watching the Celtics back in 2008 when they won the championship.

I remember him being drafted I was so excited, then he got stabbed 11 times at a Boston night club I was in shock. he stuck it through the bad times and the good times. I cried when the C's won in 2008 and I cried during his first return when he was on Brooklyn during that tribute video. Paul Pierce is the only NBA player I have watched from the beginning to the end. Blood Sweat and Tears "My Curse" #34 will always bleed green!

I've always loved Paul Pierce's set shot. Looks so unique. I love his jump shot as well. Glad to see that basically found a second life in Jabri Parker who reminds me of Pierce in lots of ways. Hoping he can get healthy and put his mark on the league. Respect to The Truth! Inspiring young men and women worldwide for almost two decades!
