Hey Paul I love watching your videos it really cheers me up especially after I just got out of the hospital Bc of a broken wrist in lacrosse I was fighting for a ground ball then lost my balance fell backwards and it ended up breaking both bones in my wrist and in the process they had to cut my elbow pad my jersey and my shirts.. I’m not giving up on lacrosse I’m going to come back better then ever all Bc you inspire me to work so hard

Hey Paul do you know how to get fear of ball for goalies over faster just started I am kind of young and I just started playing goalie but I am with a experienced team so it is kind of scary

Have someone lightly toss balls at you. Don’t use a stick, just use your body. This will help you get use to the pain and learn to use your body to make saves, after awhile a body save wont even phase you. Don’t be tense or turn to the side, stay square to the shooter. You can wear extra pads, since your younger and it will help you be less scared of the ball.

If they r experienced shooters then most likely they will be shooting at the net so even if u don’t save them try just tracking their shots

A kids dad is an assistant coach for our team and it’s the kids first year and he’s not even that good but his dad now starts him over me. I’ve been starting the whole season. I’m super pissed.

tbh i can relate because on my team, the coaches always start their kids over the others. even if someone else has way more skill, they still play their kid. it’s super obnoxious, especially because we all are so passionate about the sport.
