Watching this hwoa player getting hit by the same set ups over and over again hurt me. How many df2s can tmm whiff before he decides to press b3. Is he ever going to take his turn properly after blocking one instead of defaulting to 1,2 flamingo? How many wake up hopkicks can one man get hit by? to be fair, pauls d/f 2 is hard to whiff punish on reaction including with or without online. Especially if the move youre throwing out is i16. Its still possible to react to, but I cant really blame the hwoarang for not wanting to b3 a whiffed d/f 2 by paul unless he premptively threw out a b3 on prediction for the d/f 2. He did launch TMM for it sometimes but if you arent prepared for a whiffed d/f 2 by paul, its actually best not to try to late whiff punish it with a launch punishable move.

I’m saying at the end of the day most of us are human and can have a lack of concentration in one instance that makes them look stupid. TMM agreed the hwoarang player is strong. Tactics like these require a strong concentration to beat. It’s not as simple in reality. It’s why CBM hwoarang noted as a df 2 spammer can take multiple games from even the strongest korean players. Hindsight will always be 2020. Not everyone can play “correctly” in every instance of every match. Also he did punished TMM df2 spam with b3 couple of times. Not every single one was punish ofc but beating down a guy who clearly is trying to punish them without throwing b3 recklessly on block leaves a bad taste.

You are absolutely right Idc what that other guy says. That Hwoarang did not learn anything from the constant repetition of setups. Kept getting hit over and over. I main Paul and saw a bunch of tactics I would almost never use... except for the wake up hop kick lol. Main man just playing slow and cheap with Paul. Not showing any intricacy or deep character knowledge kind of stuff. Those Paul’s get murdered by real Hwoarang players. This Hwo gave TMM too much respect. When he should have been on him like white on rice, thus, not allowing Paul the space and freedom to cheese. I mean come on! He got hit with the UNBLOCKABLE!!!!!

Hey mainman really like your conetent, but really cant help but feel that there is too much negativity in your videos lately. For example I like to see your paul videos for the big damage, massive combos and your good execution and the videos would be even more enjoyable to watch if your attitude was more uplifting and not constatly complaining about the characters problems or being silent. I understand that paul has its problems but you have already made a video on it and this is only an online match, nothing so serious so it would be nice to just see some fun gameplay with some nice energetic live commentary.

Please, incredible mixup, relatively safe launcher, good ch game with b4, mid safe long range crushing low launcher, uber pressure, when Hwo use to snake edge if blocked he goes in a stance where a lot of ws launcher wiffs (AK ws2 for example) Hwo is fucking broken, just because he needs flaming to do some crazy things means nothing

Even in this vid you can see the massive difference in df2 range. B4 also has like no range and unlike most magic fours in the game is very easy to whiff punish. I'm assuming you meant mid, safe long range, low crushing launcher? Where... orbital? Which has bad range as well and more recovery that bryan and leroy combined. Or hunting hawk that has no tracking, is slow as shit, and is sometimes anti aired by lows lmaoo. Yes his hunting hawk can be anti aired mid animation by lows. Hwoa's snake edge doesn't go into any sort of stance on block. It is a stagger low like all the rest, not his fault AK ws1 has bad range (I say ws1 because that's what I assume you meant given that AK ws2 isn't even a launcher. Also he can launch punish with hopkick) Hwoa is not broken at all lmao. You just don't know the mu, clearly
