One of my favorite videos of all time. I’m right around Paul’s age & it’s crazy looking at it now to think he was living the absolute dream a lot of us had when we were in high school to be in a transworld video, get paid to travel and skate and have koston co-sign your intro lol. Cheers to everyone from this era still skating and making it in life!

I remember buying this in 9th grade, and it was like $30 for the VHS tape. Save up for a minute! Watched it once, and I just knew I was skating every day forever after that.

It’s 2002, I’m 16 I’d just moved to Puerto Rico. I didn’t know anyone that skated for the first 3-4 months that I moved there but I’ll never forget watching Paul, Mikey and evans part every single day before going skating.

One of my favorite skate vids of all time. Every part was insane at the time.

Yeah it was the first ever full skate video I watched; I skated about 4 miles to the skate shop then I randomly picked 'In Bloom' on VHS. I lucked out big time - I remember turning off the lights in the living room before pressing play... very special time... I still listen to all the songs that featured on the video to this day

So special. One of my favorite parts and videos. John Holland really inspired me to be a filmmaker. I was at the In Bloom Premiere on crutches and my Mom gave Jaime Thomas my sponsor me tape. I remember it was at the Ford Theatre in LA. Such an amazing time in skateboarding. Thank You Paul for doing this. Some day if we could trade talents in Heaven It would be a dream come true.

One of my favourite P-rod parts. Even though I had been skating for years before In Bloom came out and I had already seen my fair share of skate videos I was impressed by how smooth he was and how effortless he made it look. And it's one of my favourites for this reason. So smooth.

Interesting break down. The Mophono song is one of my favorite skate part songs and I still listen to it 20 years later. It's a trip to learn he didn't pick the song. It just meshed with his part so well. I remember him sticking tricks or landings to the beat.

I remember I always thought that SHS thing on his grip was two flipped and kind of runic styled R's because his last name is Rodriguez, and I wanted to do something like that on my own but my name and initials sucked so it always came out shit lol. Crazy how much I looked up to him as a kid, watched all his parts and tried to do tricks like him, always had éS Accel's and an éS hoodie on. It's crazy hearing him talking about Koston like that and to think that he himself has been "the Koston" to countless of thousands of skaters through the years. It's all just a big cycle, Koston had his own Koston or uh.. whatever. Fuck yeah Paul, you're the best
