Do you have to seal the page to avoid smudging?

Heeey. Well, I never do that because I embrace smudging, lol. Honestly, I'm too lazy for that and since I do most of my work in art journals where I experiment and practice, I have no need for sealing. However, oil pastels do smear, especially if the layers are thick. If you don't want smudging, you can definitely seal your painting.
