A brilliant thing to do for the locals. This was more than just injecting money Rob and Ryan seemed to truly become football fans. They both invested a lot of time too despite them being busy people. Rob saw the passion in football that doesn’t exist in US sports and wanted to experience it himself. Hopefully we get more foreign owners who take this approach rather than buying big clubs then taking no further interest.

It’s a great story but not an underdog story. It’s a story of a club getting a bunch of money and then start to do well which is pretty common. The difference is that we can see how much the owners care about the club with Wrexham. Leicester City winning the EPL would be an underdog story.

When I heard these two were buying Wrexham, I was admittedly confused (neither have any known Welsh links, tho rob does come from Philadelphia which has Welsh names, 'Bryn Mawr’ (big hill in Welsh) as an example!). But they stuck with it and it’s most deffo been worth it watching this team astound everyone! More points than ANY other team in top five uk footballing divisions since that incredible season and they’re on the track for a hat trick of promotions (currently top of their current division) and one of their own NEARLY getting a international call up for Wales (Paul mullin, qualifies via his gran, still got time!).. Wrexham have become a force to be reckoned with! Just keep the belief bois..

And you never ever put SA under the same umbrella with NA in football terms. Major difference. I'd also say the same about Central and Caribbean ones. When it comes to football, USA is still waaaay less interested in that sport. And the level of competition, clubs and everything else cant be compared to SA or European football. But Im so glad that times are changing. Good to see this sport is more and more popular in USA.
