Great stuff ,yet again good video at end showing nets laid out 👍

Very informative as usual Paul. Thanks. I think I'll order one of those Drennan Keepnets, The strain of carp down here in Australia have a very strong, sharp and serrated dorsal fin which rips keepnets and landing nets to pieces if they have a more open weave. You are also correct about the play in the angle tilt mechanism of the Preston keepnets. I have a blue coloured version which has the same mechanism and the same amount of play. Keep up the good work mate.

Thanks paul looking sharp, I am liking drennan gear more and more so on those features you mentioned i would probably look at one of those.

Drennan stuff is quality, the only product of theirs I didn’t like was the revolution catapult (but plenty of people do like them), everything else excellent.

@@paulstacklereviews1695 I was looking around at keepnet videos. Yours is still the only one about. I can only like this once ;-)

Another good honest review 👌 some of my friends recently fished a match at Sessay and the winner had over 700lb 😯 he had 15 keepnets staked out, I wonder which net's he prefers? 🙄

Compact ones I suggest! That’s not my kind of fishing, prefer to have to work more and figure it out to get bites.

Well done Paul just seen this. When you see how things are designed and set up it's amazing how anybody lands a fish. The way nets fixings are to me is wrong! If you had an option of a net with a side fixing you could then have one running down the left margin and one to the right and one in the middle if needed with a central fixing as supplied presently then there's no obstacles or of course an L shaped arm. With octopus you never had this problem so it's gone a bit backward for me. Cheers paul!

I know what you mean. I prefer it if I can get away with 2 nets and a gap in between, makes life a lot easier!
@robertwren88782 жыл бұрын
Hi paul. I think I'm right when I say one can do it by using the arm that you use to place your butt rest on but in horizontal fixed fashion cos it snaps in and locks fixed on the front legs.

hello! i know it's been a while since this video was posted but i will still ask, i just got the Preston one online at the recommendation of the operator but now i see that the mesh eyes are quite big and now i am wondering if the carp fins can gen stuck in the bigger mesh? How was for you sir until now?
@paulstacklereviews1695 Жыл бұрын
I’ve not had any problems with the fins getting caught in the mesh.

Yes on the tray arm, saw Jon Arthur do it so can’t claim credit, very useful.

great video, looking at the comparison the drennan net looks the best, i must admit though, the part at the end with the nets out, i’m far too much of a tackle tart to have that much gear of all different makes!
@paulstacklereviews16953 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the good feedback. I used to be more of a tackle tart in terms of things matching, wore off as I’ve got older. Although not matching I do have good gear!

@@paulstacklereviews1695 your videos are great paul, and i didn’t mean to offend!! your gear is top notch, i’m just a weirdo and if it’s not matrix i won’t have it
