In his career he's played as a second striker, central midfield and a deep lying playmaker, he' had a great short game, long game, great shot, could head the ball. Scholes is as complete a midfielder your likely to run into. I think Xavi and Pirlo are on a par with him in midfield and there ability to control games is equally as impressive but scholes had abit more.
