The coach from the Air Force must be a standup guy. They had him on the Air Force team, and he convinced him to go to a bigger program to get more exposure. LSU, he told him he was too good to be in the Air Force.

Can we all agree that Bochy is an idiot for not guaranteeing we get to see Skenes face Judge? If Skenes pitches just the one inning like they say, and he gets them in order in the first... we don't get to see him against Judge. And what a wasted opportunity that is. The whole point of the game is to put on a show for the fans, and Bochy made it so we may not get the matchup we all wanted.

There is an incentive to actually win the all star game - winner gets homefield advantage in the world series. I am sure there is reason to how he constructed the lineup. You are watching from the couch and he is a hall of fame manager.
