Paul was such a legend during the early 80's. By the time he left the book I was done with the X-men for quite awhile until I was brought back with the great mutant massacre I think in 86.

Ironically, I was looking at those classic X-Men books by Paul Smith and Bob Wiacek a few minutes before I saw this video pop up. Did I say anything aloud that caused Google to populate my recommendations? Anyway, I LOVE Paul Smith's X-Men work. It was my favorite book when it came out. The clean lines and thoughtful compositions still hold up, and I would put Smith/Wiacek second only to Byrne/Austin.
