@LORDGOAT1976 I'm not certain to what you're responding with this comment. However, Bon Jovi was all over Mtv when this 1987 KISS hosting stint occured. This show was shot after the summer when "Slippery When Wet" took the world by storm. By Fall 1986, Bon Jovi had released 6-7 videos from their first three albums, most of which were only played on Headbanger's Ball prior to "Slippery" breaking big.

@impellernut Paul's goofing on Jackson because her single "Nasty" was one of the biggest songs in the country at that time. Mtv played the video for what seemed to be two or three times per hour. It became Jackson's signature song, and arguably her biggest single. It even sparked a national catchphrase which you see Paul saying here: "My name's Janet - Miss Jackson, if you're nasty."
