Sprint

Күн бұрын

It’s 2016 and every network is great. In fact, Sprint’s reliability is now within 1% of Verizon. And that’s not because I said so. It’s based on recent data from Nielsen, the world’s foremost authority on independent network measurement. And Sprint is saving you 50% on most Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile rates.
Don’t let a 1% difference cost you twice as much. Can you hear that? #TheSwitchIsReal
Already saving with Sprint? That's why now is the time to let your friends know that they could be on a great network at a great price.
When your friends join Sprint and activate a new phone line because of your referral, you'll each get a $50 reward card. Depending on how many friends decide to switch, you can earn up to $500 every year.

ImReadyD151 why destroy the best. Why complain about 50% off and service still works. That's my favorite thing a cheap service that works like an expensive one. I think since I've had Sprint since last April and I'm done quite a bit of traveling I think I'm only dropped one phone call. The only place Sprint does not seem to be as strong as other carriers is at my house but is still perfectly strong enough to do what I need to do.
@Momoneymmiproblems
@Momoneymmiproblems 7 жыл бұрын
M. Kelleher well more like kind of works like a better thing, but by their own admission still isn't as good. Plus when you read the fine print it's only where Sprint actually covers compared to Verizon. Which is a smaller area. So in reality your favorite thing would be paying less for a service that isn't as good, and works in fewer places. If that is your thing you should probably get Cricket or buy a CB radio.

That's exactly what I wondered when I saw this. Not whether Sprint is actually a superior service at a better price... but how much more they're paying him to publicly sell out over Verizon. It's kind of a stupid move on Sprint's part, isn't it? I mean, aren't people more likely to be *turned off* by a spokesperson who spontaneously reniggs on his previous assertion that another provider is the best?

In 2005 I had to call the police because a drunk man walked into my apartment on New Year's Day. I woke up with him trying to get into my bed. I pushed him out my door and locked it. I tried to call the police on my Sprint phone and the service was so bad the call wouldn't go through. I had to yell for my roommate to run into my room while the drunk dude was in my bathroom throwing up. She ran in my room and I was able to use her phone to call the police. I called Sprint after the police left and they acted like they didn't even care. That's why I will never go back to Sprint. I forgot they even existed.

Even in 2016 when this commercial aired, Sprint was in a death spiral of debt, subscriber losses, and no real future of keeping up network-wise to other carriers. The Nextel mergers and their bet on WiMax instead of LTE put them way too far behind. I mean, they started literally giving away the service (remember them doing the free year with BYODs?) and still couldn't get people to switch. That's how bad it got for them. Most of these people up here pining for Sprint and saying they had a great network where they lived don't realize, that most of the time, that "great network experience" was Sprint piggybacking off of Verizon, ATT, and US Cellular.

I will never again go back to Sprint. In the last 15 years, I've had T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon for both personal and business use. This is how I would rank them: 1. Verizon 2. AT&T 3. T-Mobile 4. Sprint Sprint was far and away the worst carrier I've ever had and EVERYONE I know who currently has or has had Sprint in the past always complains about their terrible data and voice. No amount of marketing will ever make me go back to Sprint. Verizon is pricier but you get what you pay for. No issues whatsoever.

+Sprint I actually really like sprint the price for the service is great and when I'm in high population areas my signal is usually pretty good. Its when I'm traveling through rural areas that I completely lose signal for miles at a time, and if it wasn't for me routing ahead of time, or if i ran into car troubles. It could be a serious issue not having signal to call for help or re-route. Mainly communication. Trying to stay in contact while in an area with spotty coverage is annoying. Bottom line is sprints coverage in rural areas needs to be improved.

Had Sprint from 2000 to 2014. Loved them up until around 2012 when their service began to decline for me. I never had so many dropped calls and my home became a frequent drop call site or dead spot. No land line phone so had to switch. The biggest disappointment was that 4G wimax idea. Sprint lost so much time on a bad idea that if they had built & or updated their towers with 4G LTE, their dropped calls & dead spots probably wouldn't have become so bad and customers like myself would have stayed.

Interesting. Sprint's website currently shows 6GB/mo for $45, and not the $30 the Sprint poster is saying. On the flip side, your current $65 for 6GB gets you 12GB for $60 on their website. Of course, none of this ever includes the tons of taxes the telecoms add on.
@AlexanderMaxham
@AlexanderMaxham 8 жыл бұрын
that's because they are still doing the 50% off if you switch.
@Gmon750
@Gmon750 8 жыл бұрын
Ah... just saw that... That 50% is only for one year with a $30 "Activation Fee". It's all in the fine print. I just read their mile-long Terms of Service and their early-termination section is vague to say the least. These bait-and-switch offers always sound too good to be true until the honeymoon wears off and reality sets in. What if Sprint doesn't deliver of their service? The ToS section regarding Taxes & Surcharges state that it will be between 5%-20% and that "Surcharges are not taxes". Needless to say, all the telecoms do that, so Sprint isn't any different but that 50%-off doesn't quite become 50% at the end of the month.

+Sprint I just followed the link you sent to me and your corporation said they are going to charge me 85 dollars a month. Why are you giving this false advertisement. The person I was talking was pushing me to get 2 lines when I only need one. She also said sprint has the best data and call connection. That is such a joke. Be real with your customers and charge a fair price. I'm only paying 65 and I know verizion is a better service.

So I've been with both carriers. Originally with Verizon, but switched to Sprint because it was cheaper and offered a free iPhone 5C. The experience was.... spotty to say the least. Take it from someone who switched from AT&T to Sprint. Sprints service is awful data is certainly no 4g. There were times I would never receive calls just a voicemail. I was told it was because to many people were using the same tower at the same time. Texts would some times take 8 hrs to go through and customer service was a joke. It's funny to me seeing this as now I switched to Verizon. Although I pay more the service and customer support are 10 times bette.
