36:15 Amazing grace! What a thing to comprehend! His grace is poured out for us because of who He is.

Roman Catholicism's arguments for the necessity of a magisterium in understanding scripture would be more plausible if the magisterium was remotely competent in expounding it. But the best expositors of the Bible over the past 500 years have not been Catholics.
@MultiSky7Ай бұрын
Oh, they are more than competent in expounding it, trust me, but that's a no no, cause they have EVERYTHING to lose if they let anyone steer a stinky mud of their made up dogmas. That's why they need their indoctrinated parroting sheep, who will repeat the same bs over and over - up to the point of oblivion, no matter how nonsensical and blasphemous it is.

Hello dear brother Anthony, I hope I’m not being too imprudent or forward, but is there any news about a future debate with Andrew Griffin on the topic of Wisdom being a person and/or Jesus? Thankyou brother. Shalom and Blessings
@Ousias1Ай бұрын
I have been busy pursuing other things and haven't followed up with Andrew about his interest in doing a debate on that topic.

Hey Anthony say Hello to Ehrman for us if see him at the university of North Carolina . Maybe you can bring a copy of the paper misquoting gieschen and get him to sign it . Also maybe him show him Mark doesn’t teach an adoptionist christology. He keeps saying that . Also Anthony is it “to the Son” or “of the Son “

There is no such thing as "is Paul the founder of Christianity". The Truth is this: Jesus is the Father of all!

Jesus is the eternal Son, not the Father (Matt. 28:19). #Christianity101

In Calvinism, how can a person believe and trust God as Savior when He has to regenerate or give a person the new birth before giving that person faith to believe. There is no Grace or Gospel in TULIP.
@douglasmcnay644Ай бұрын
are you really saying that giving someone spiritual birth is not gracious?

How do we miss the obvious? Lord help us. Sola Gratia.

How can you ask "how" a person can believe if God gives us new life? It sounds like you are answering your own question. We are clay in the potter's hands (Jeremiah 18:6)
@Stef-bq6msАй бұрын
@@stevej71393Maybe worded poorly, the new birth is a result or consequences of believing God as Savior. Jesus does the saving upon believing His promise of everlasting life forever. Calvinist do not have an all-powerful God because their god can not create and make mankind in His image. God has given us the gift of life with a will, conscious, reason, feelings. God has given us the gift of choice to believe, trust, and have faith. There is no Grace or Gospel in Calvinism.

I don’t think you quite understand what grace means. If God regenerates you by grace, you will have saving faith by grace. Remember that there are no morally neutral agents. Ephesians 2 and the first few chapters of Romans tell us this in great detail. We are born in sin and live as active enemies of God until God regenerates us and makes us new creations. God doesn’t owe anyone grace or mercy but yet He extends it to as many as the number of the stars or of the multitude of the grains of sand on the shore.
