The one & only Paul Thorn...my husband passed away suddenly in 2019 and I'm sure he misses Paul more than anyone else. Please keep bringing some soul to our superficial lives...
@loricrawford19523 жыл бұрын
your comment opened my eyes about something and its truly profound! This music brings tears to my eyes, as does a lot of other music from my favorite singers/songwriters from Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson to Van Morrison to John Prine, JJ Cale and this guy here (and RWH!). The common theme is the authenticity, the opposite of superficiality. The songs represent the truth in the lives of real people, and that's what touches my heart so it helps me understand why I am drawn to these artists in particular. If you haven't listened to Lukas Nelson (his band is Promise of the Real POTR), he's one of Willie's youngest sons and HE IS my most recent musical obsession! Check out "Want Me Around" and "Set Me Down on a Cloud" for some authenticity!

If ever I need a pick me up, I take a little drive and take my worn Paul Thorn CD's and end up smiling, sing'n and danc'n by the time I get back home. I bought tickets for both nights that he is going to be here in Green Lake, Wisco! I got them for my friends cause if you don't stay ahead of the game, you'll lose out. Last year I missed out on Sat. nite, but still went down and enjoyed talking with his fans outside. I hope to get a good picture of us this year and say hello.

I love seeing Paul solo, but disagree with your comment on the band. Paul has one of the tightest bands on the road today & with Billy Maddox on the board, the only thing that could go wrong is a room with bad acoustics.
