I have that same problem so I learned to skip rocks backhand. Works great as long as the rocks aren't too small!

@@benschikker833 I’ll have to think about how I skip rocks the next time I’m doing field work I guess. I can skip rocks extremely well and played baseball up until college but for whatever reason I have not figured out how to throw a forehand yet
