Never should have been licensed by the commission... Money grabs making a mockery of boxing.. A boy fighting an old man.. Stop with this BS.. How about Paul fights a top 50 real boxer in his weight class... Oh yeah that won't bring in any cash which is what this BS is all about..

The best thing about this night was my gf and a few of my friends who have never watched combat sports before kept saying that the regional mma show i took them to a week ago was infinitely moor exciting and cooler than boxing, and we started watching before the barrios fight

So we are just going to pretend that Mike kissing the reporter and then walking away wearing nothing but his jock strap with his bare ass hanging out didn't happen? Me and my friends died laughing when that happened and then they replayed at the very end of the broadcast. 🤣

Now I only was able to see half the fight due to Netflix being trash but if that’s the best women’s boxing match of all time then I guess I never need to watch a women’s boxing match again. Looked like sparring match. If it was a ufc fight I don’t think 90 percent of those punches would be considered significant strikes

The viewing experience of the event was a disaster. Buffering, streaming shut downs, bad pacing between co-main and main with 30 minutes of the commentary team just saying nothing. How could this be a “rock solid B”? The fights except the main event were the only redeeming part

I think my big takeaway from this card is boxing and MMA have to find a functionally equitable way to punish people for breaking the rules, like pass interference in NFK, that don’t functionally (typically) determine the outcome of a fight, yet are enforceable and documentable and count towards the final tallies of the fight. In a just world, Serrano would have just said yeah I can’t go on in round 6 and just took the W based on her performance and her being ahed on the cards (likely). We must find a way to appropriately penalize fighters for breaking important rules onto challenging their perceived “game”ness. That cost Amanda C millions of dollars tonight.

Fact is Tyson made more money the longer the fight went. The only fight I ever seen Tyson go backwards the entire time. I only watched the 1st 6 rounds so far and of those I thought Tyson landed the best shot. Don't think I even saw Tyson sweat. Certainly didn't see Paul do anything worthy of mention.

The best outcome would have been Tyson knocking out Paul. The second best outcome would have been Paul knocking out Tyson, even if it was uncomfortable for some (not me, Tyson agreed to the fight, he agreed to all consequences). This was clearly the worst outcome. Boring fight, did not deliver on the hype again. People will not watch Jake Paul’s next fight like they did this once. Promising violence and then not delivering on it is his trademark.

Amanda C deserved better. The onus was on her, bc of this crap situation, to pretend cool and tough and unfazed. A side bc B side in a trilogy is intense money wise. Cerrano lost millions tonight by being “game” in a situation that could have been more clearly defined

Listen up people. You have to learn how boxing works. There has to be a "winner". Short and sweet. . . At 58 Tyson could have knocked that stuck up bum out ANYtime he wanted to. The payday spoke. That's all I'll say. He wouldn't last 3 rounds with Tyson. Last Friday, this Friday or 10 from now. The fight was 1,000% thrown by Tyson.

This is something that the likes of Jersey Joe, Ezzard Charles, Rocky Marciano and all the other all-time greats would never have done. Tyson was considered a great because of his aggression, until that fateful night when Buster Douglas (who was in a bad place at that time because of personal matters) showed how invincible Tyson was by knocking him out clean. A fighter is known by the courage he shows by trying to get up (Rocky Marciano and many others have done this) and getting back into it. Once Tyson got ko'd by the unknown journeyman Douglas, his career went downhill because he couldn't accept defeat. In other words, Tyson was never a boxer but a bully who showed a complete lack of respect for others and once the bully gets ko'd, then they lose whatever credibility they had left.

I enjoy you guys post Ariel... with one overarching exception: I wish you guys would tone down the efforts you each take (quite a lot) to argue that your opinions are facts... it lowers the level of this channel.... also kind of a bummer is the; "I was right! I said______ and ______ happened." stuff.... it keeps this new iteration of MMAfightingSBN from feeling like more legit commentary and makes it more about each of your egos.... sorry if that sounds nasty... but I like ya'll and I have a feeling most listeners would rather hear you just discuss stuff from a news and editorial perspective than spend so much energy trying to be right and making it about yourselves rather than about your insights (where your opinions and thoughts are self evident and not related to whether you have value as predictors of things or this pervasive vibe of trying to make opinions seem like objective facts). It wouldn't take much of a shift.... I recognize that it's probably just rooted in the insecurity of being in the position you're in post Ariel... you guys are great without that "my opinions are facts" thing.
