You hit the nail right on the head Mr. Washer. We should be doing the same things that we have been doing(praying for the will of God to be revealed in our lives, doing what God shows us, preparing to minister to the needs of the body of Christ, loving our wives and children, training them up in the way they should go, etc.). We have little time left and we should be redeeming the time because the days are evil. That will be what will sustain us, if and when persecution comes here to america.

Looks like this video was made about 8 years ago and I'm commenting in November of 2021 so obviously a lot of things have changed and although most would say persecution is really not happening in the church especially in Europe. I was in delft in a Christian bookstore and I asked the clerk if there were any Street preachers she had kind of a questioning thought on her face and said no I haven't seen any recently. And I asked her why she paused and thought for a moment and she said I think they're afraid. I said pray what are they afraid of she thought for a moment a while and then she said the Muslims they don't like hearing street preaching and they will go after you and I was a bit surprised that the church was so afraid of the threats of the world and the enemy that they would acquiesce but then most of the European church has done just that acquiesced so as Paul Washer says they're not a threat there's no reason to persecute him because they are almost a non player in anything very sad and as Paul Washer says that's one of our greatest dangers. However as you may know if not wake up there is a persecution that's starting in Europe and even more so in America because there are people in America who do stand for the truth and won't acquiesce so there are lawsuits there are people going to jail and it's sporadic it's intermittent it's here and there so you don't always hear about it but it is beginning to happen and the real issue is the culture is changing so you have people in leadership judges politicians lawmakers that don't like Christianity and are going after it and that's going to happen more should we do anything to prepare absolutely you better dig into God's word especially things like John 13 and first and second Peter and first and second John and all of God's word and know it so well no him so well that you're ready whatever the opposition is even if it's metal rods on your back even if it's losing your church closing the doors losing your job losing your family be ready it's coming

Brother, persecution is persecution, whether that be our brothers and sisters in the 3rd world missioin field being slaughtered for their faith or us in the states being arrested for street preaching, it is here and will only get worse. Bless

Yes I remember that video. I believe Paul's response in this video was one sided, I think he answered correctly how we should be preparing for persecution by continuing in the will of God which incorporates many biblical things but when it comes to "Is persecution coming?" I think he failed to answer that.Persecution is already here, year by year we as Christians will face greater condemnation from the world, it will get worse and harder to be a christian as time passes. On July 31 2012, sermon index posted a video of the coming persecution to America and if i can remember, Mr Washer said that we should be preparing to lose our cars, homes, and everything. Does Mr washer still support that viewpoint? How bad will this persecution be?

I will say for a man who gave a stern warning about martyrdom, and the government taking things away ( which I believe was and is true, he sounds quite different in this post. I agree unless The Lord sees fit, there won’t be a great end time revival! That’s not even Biblical . I do believe there’s going to be tough in these last days, and it’s here. I pray also that Paul’s not linked with John Piper either😔. Piper is buddies with Rick Warren, and his One World Religion.

Danny Hood, Can you elaborate? Not sure what you are saying you are afraid of. I have had a lot of fears all my life. it seems. Darkness, dreams, heights, the tribulation, facing G0D...but there is help. No simplistic instant cure, but it can go away. I would be happy to share what worked for me if you are interested.
