I’m a fairly new Christian of 3 months , I listen to your sermons almost everyday while I work , God has truly spoken to me as young 19 year old , through your sermons , that’s truly nothing else matters but him , that this world is not our home , our home awaits us when we die. Ever since I got saved everything has truly changed in my life , I used to smoke , so drugs , dirty mouth , just everything I was in love with sin , but thank you lord Jesus for bringing me out of the depths of hell, truly Christ is amazing I truly wish people would just believe with that tiny mustard seed of faith and repenting and God will give you grace , he is so loving , giving , but just so holy. I don’t really know the words to use but just My God is amazing and so many people I wish could just see. My heart burdens for other souls in a way I can’t even explain and I never want this to go away. God is truly amazing

Yes, it reminds me of a poem written by Amy Wilson Carmichael 80-100 years ago: Hast thou no scar? No hidden scar on foot, or side, or hand? I hear thee sung as mighty in the land, I hear them hail thy bright ascendant star, Hast thou no scar? Hast thou no wound? Yet, I was wounded by the archers, spent. Leaned me against the tree to die, and rent By ravening beasts that compassed me, I swooned: Hast thou no wound? No wound? No scar? Yet as the Master shall the servant be, And pierced are the feet that follow Me; But thine are whole. Can he have followed far Who has no wound nor scar?

@samsanderson5202 Жыл бұрын
Hey both of you, From what I understand from the comment, I'll tell you something that I am hoping would encourage you...When it comes to anger-there are two kinds of anger; righteous anger and unrighteous anger, often times we portray the opposite of being angry as something to be termed as "being weak" or "being a pushover" , God calls us to be humble but not weak, God calls us to be gentle but not in the sense that we have to bend our rules for everything. Sadly a lot of Christians fall into that understanding. Being a Christian doesn't mean you have to constantly live in some sort of anxiety, get me clear there will be a constant struggle between the flesh and the word but that's not the same towards having anxiety, most Christians develop this behaviour because naturally we tend to behave like legalists thinking somewhat we can earn this on a daily basis, but the truth is "He died for us yet when we were sinners", having a low day where you struggled with something and you feel guilty about it is usual but this guilty should lead to repentance but not anxiety, I hope you are getting me, we are not called to be perfect , a Christian life is ups and downs but even in the deepes points where you are covered in dirt God's word says nothing can seperate you from my love, in Psalms it says - i have seperated you from your sins as far as east from the west, the bottom line is we willings choose everyday to be vigil and to walk in the word, May God bless you.

Because what I want is NOT to live in self-pitty. Thinking exactly about that: so many people live so much worse things than me....and more important: Christ has suffered for me much worse and terrible than I ever could imagine....HE did it for me, for my sins, my faults....my fallen caracter....so that should be enough to live in HIS joy and be thankful and to hold strong on him....and not live in this tiredness and frustration....

This is an excellent message. Like most other ministries, he’s blowing past a fundamental presuppositional position and he doesn’t even realize it. There are generations of sincere Christians, primarily men, who when they sensed God’s calling for them to follow Christ with complete devotion, without any guidance, they took that to mean that anything inside of themself (and this happened to me when I was young) that was an interest, passion, desire, or even any sense of purpose, had to be destroyed. This occurred with me in the mid-1970s. I’m 68 now, I never prepared for a career, I abandoned my pursuit of an education. So in my 40s when I finally got married, I was not prepared for that. I’m now without a wife, there are no children, I live below the poverty level. I look back on the last 45 years of my life, and all I see are ashes. I carry the desperation and despondency with me every single day. When the call was to lay my life down for the kingdom of God and live a crucified life, because there was no teaching and no direction about this, I destroyed my heart. I’m beginning to think only now that maybe that’s a schizophrenic understanding of the gospel. But who teaches about this? Paul Washer is not teaching about this. No one else is teaching about it either. You might be shocked at the large contingent of devoted Christian men in their senior years, that have an enormous struggle finding hope. This has been a pervasive situation for generations. Holiness and complete devotion to Christ and His kingdom, is fundamental for any Christian. But the fundamentalist evangelical church has inculcated into the hearts and minds of believers, that their very heart needed to be destroyed. As a result, we are left with generations of sincere devoted, Christian men, without passion…… In a critical sense, we are actually being taught NOT to have any passion in life. That to even have a passion for anything, might in and of itself, be an act of rebellion against the kingdom of God

I absolutely Love the way you speak with authority Pastor-Minister Paul Washer. You have a wonderful way of getting people to reflect on their lives. We’re unclean and deserve everything that Jesus took to the cross. It’s important to show Jesus how much he means to each one of us. I’m so in Love with Jesus and he means everything to me. I will watch this again and again. I shared it with my son’s Hansel and Gerald hoping this will touch them deeply to make them think about the true message. People need to walk through life with Jesus talking to him about everything and welcome him more than their families. I’ve been guilty of not putting him first and now my own family think I’m judging because they get offended by the words that I speak. They actually take on the spirit of offense. I don’t want any of them going to Hell and a couple of them are passing away just as the world is passing away. Pleas pray for Heath and Denielle (non believers) Haven and Hudson their children (8 & 5). Heidi and Brock boyfriend-believer) has her going to church and her daughters Gwen and Grace (16&12). Gerald who strongly believes but has moments of anger that aren’t of God. Daughters Shelby and Faith who are living with boyfriends and Shelby’s son Chevy. Shelby’s boyfriend doesn’t care if he goes to hell..he’s trying to keep me out of the apartment away from my daughter. When I look at him ..I see a Demon. Not the first time I have had to deal with one of those. It manifests and my grandson doesn’t like it either. Hansel and Winona’s sons Briceson-Braylon and Brody. His mother in law who watches charmed all day , every day in their home because she lives with them (it’s a series about witches and warlocks and demons). I pray but it seems like my prayers aren’t being answered. It terrifies me when I think about where they may spend eternity. Much Love to you and your family. I wis you could preach at Rocky Mountain Calvary Church here in Colorado Springs. God bless you all.

Beautiful sermon. I've been thinking about the topic of mortality and the futility of the world as well. Important to invest where treasure will not be destroyed; to live for the glory of God now in all we do

You are not alone. The Word says that all believers are united in Spirit as one body and we, the church are HIS beloved. Stand firm brother. They who wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength. They shall walk and not faint. They shall run and not grow weary. They shall mount up on wings as eagles. I may not have quoted exactly. But please be encouraged. You are not alone. Let us press on to the prize before us. I will pray for you. Please pray also for me.

Thanks I was absued as a child touched dozens of times and faced every violent brutal vicious attack from Satan that coward I watched the devil strip me limb from limb to limb and I’ve lost everything life feels alone but Christ delievers us I had Jesus show me a certain metal music of truth that relates to my decscentazied state along with other music and being I gave myself to Christ shortly after when I was 17 since then it’s been a battle since I watched Satan interfere and attack my body and mind he is the ultimate coward I’ll pray for you I have nothing to my name and live at home with a atheist family that doesnt even believe in Jesus Christ or being born again I’ve made a foolish mistake to turn to drugs basically every drug in the book except LSD and shrooms and I’m paying the price I’ll pray we both can take back our lives and live out our days it’s that or death to finally regain peace in the end.

I’m waiting anxiously to be caught up with Jesus!!! It’s the first thing on my mind when I wake, I think about all day long and the last thing I think about when I close my eyes! I want to see my blessed Savior, the one who died for our sins! He suffered horribly to be the sacrifice for our sins. His love for us is unimaginable! My heart aches to leave this world and be with our glorious Father and His Son! There is nothing holding me back in this world.
