Very true statement. I found Paul in the mid 90’s and have been listening to him ever since. He’s never been away for very long - always putting out new music and performing.

Paul Weller is and always has been a genius.I listened to the Jam way back in the seventies and he was the driving force of the band.40 years on and he is still producing amazing music. He is without doubt the best singer songwriter we have ever seen .

I have been a Paul Weller fan since 1981 and he has never disappointed. I still think Sure is Sure is a lost classic. The most consistent soulful British artist of the last few decades. This is a hauntingly beautiful melody. Thank you Paul.

Haven’t listened to him in years but he clearly still ‘has it’. This isn’t a competition between young and old, but there’s a special poignancy for those of us older than our 20s who can reflect on good and bad times, that only an older performer understands. For us ‘old foggiest’ I suspect this is an absolutely smashing song.

This current line up, the arrangements are world class.For someone whom has been churning out pure class for so long, yet is moving forwards, dare i say producing the best quality music of his career is unreal.True meanings, On sunset, now this, real credit to the main man,oh just point out is there any one better live?I feel blessed to of been around in the times of PW.Thank you PW and the band,certainly made my life so much better.

I’ve already listened to both some hundred of times and I can agree that yt version is better in instrumentation and the sound but for me at the emotional level of conveying the message by expression of Paul’s voice the first version goes straight to the bottom of my heart. I could somehow imagine the miming and his face while singing. Even without lyrics I would know the mood. both are brilliant. thank you once again ♥️
