good times for us that were around back then, was wonderful, great times and memories. Punk music was a great time back then for us to be around in the late 1970's, still love the music even now.

He knows what he must do, every festival in the country will sell out just to see them play one more time . What he does not account for is there is a whole new generation of Jam fans, younger kids, even my sons friends love the jam and they are 18 and they would give everything to see them play live, they don't care if they are older. They just want to see them play. probably the only live band I would take a bank loan to get a ticket.

Arguably not the best vocal parforamnce ever, but the Libertines were still a top band, Doherty and Barat at their best. Certainly the best band of my teenage years, and in my view up there with The Clash, The Jam and The Who as one of the best. Shame they were only actually around for a couple of years before breaking up. Bit like The Jam I think.

Surely his word carries more clout than yours. ;) Songs like Can't stand me now/Don't look back into the sun/the Delaney/What a Waster are up there with the best of jam songs. Both bands are amazing.
