I remember having one of those moments when u go in a record shop and hear what they’re playing and are instantly blown away- this was that tune... around’94 I think- almost laughed when I found out it was Weller- obviously nothing like him- was told it was some white label worth around 80 quid or something- I was desperate for it but couldn’t afford it at all and wouldn’t pay that anyway- I remember leaving the shop feeling fucked off that I’d never get to hear it again let alone own it- then went to an HMV and found it(this version - not much different) as a b- side to hung up cd for a couple of quid...was very ecstatic 😂 then discovered Brendan Lynch as a remixer 👍
