Jesus proclaimed his version of the Muslim shahada:- John 17.3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. The first part affirms the ONENESS OF GOD whom he called ELAH (ALLAH). The 2nd part affirms that he was His messenger sent by God to guide ONLY his own people - the lost sheep of Israel. A messenger can not have authority over the earth..If a mere messenger can have that then what authority does Allah have?
