This is brilliant. I've been saved for over 35 years and spent 30 of those in a male dominant legalistic church where we were told that a woman gets her identity from her husband and a man from his work... though it sounded right to them, it created a lot of troubles in women and men and in their marriages because our identity should be found in God, and not make other things idols. What pressure do these thoughts create? Husbands fail wives, jobs fail men. If we gain our identities from these things, we will always be disappointed when they fail us.

I am so excited with what you have spoken about because I have known this honestly for so long! But may I ask: what about Genesis 3,13; where in the Hebrew there is not "he", means Adam, but the "nahas" means snake (Lucifer, d/evil, etc.)? (Nor in our national translations too.) My understanding is that Lucifer was a translation IMPOSED on the scripture. In Isaiah it specifically refers to Nebuchadnezzar & never a ‘fallen angel’ like so many erroneously taught.

The law of sin was violated by Adam sometime after Gen 2:7 (which should be the last verse of Chapter one if we are going to use chapters) and before Gen 2:8 - The garden of Eden was made to remove/protect Adam from the influences that had caused him to violate the law of sin - which brought about a physical death to come, as well as annihilation if God did not intervene. God created a space within himself - in a womb if you will to fulfill the gospel plan he had for humanity described by Paul as adoption - also called the mystery now revealed - Since creation was corrupted by Adams sin God had to intervene through another womb - the womb he placed within Eve. It was in Adam and Eve eating from the Tree of the knowledge of non-relationship (morality - seeing, being and judging ourselves, others and even God in terms of what is good and what is evil) that the law of death came about - what Paul calls the flesh - to walk according to the flesh - which is death - the law of death - a non-relational way of being - tragically still being promoted by the church - they are pouring the new relational wine of grace into the old wineskin of non-relational seeing and being - in which case you lose both - welcome to the American church - nihilism becomes us - welcome to hell.

It has nothing to do with his father. He was violently and habitually sexually abused by the men of the village his dad was trying to “save” as a missionary and they threatened to kill his mom and dad if he told so he was a terrified boy trying to save his parents lives by *accepting* the horrific abuse. Have you ever suffered so much to protect your loved ones? I doubt it. Even so, he’s not making doctrine from experience. His experience drove him to the Word for understanding and this comes after 25yrs of his reading, studying and praying and you want to flippantly call him a heretic? I think your childhood abuse is stopping you from being able to love freely? Rather than tear a brother in the Lord down, maybe you should go feed a homeless person and ask the Lord to heal your hurt heart. 😭

He's a nice guy, but we're living in deceptive times, stay with the word of God, and don't believe all the cults who say the average person cant come to the right interpretation without higher training. Steve Mardigian I did. I was in that stuff for years. It was killing my soul. And God freed me and has gifted me with discernment to tell the difference between false gospel and the true gospel. For instance take that passenge that you just cherry picked. I assume you are cherry picking that reference out of Matt 7. If you read verse 5 it says that after you have got your ability to see clearly then you help your brother take it out of his eye. But just taking is out of context and not reading the entire passage leads to using scripture incorrectly. God wants me to judge another who is stuck against the scripture but not against my own mesurment. Look what Paul does in galatians. Up until Damascus he was trying to distroy the gospel by stamping out those who followed Christ and in galatians he goes after those who where trying to bind Christians again to the curse of the law. He called them out but not as a hypocrite but as one who was caught in the same sin at one time and had been set free by the love of Christ and his grace. By the way with your text you actually did what you are attempting to chastise me for. You judged me. Oops! That's because you used it in a secular context because you took it out of the biblical contact. That makes it subjective circular reasoning which is the world's thinking not God's.
