In the unfathomable event that I was in that position the first words out of my mouth would be that I am horribly and grievously sorry for the wicked things that came out of my mouth. She didn't say anything CLOSE to that effect!!

Paula Deen is horrible at doing damage control. And oh my god Matt Lauer is the worst interviewer I’ve ever seen.

I still don’t know if this woman used the N word or not. That quote about having people at a plantation was horrible if she said it.

That made up story about her grandson telling her he doesn't tell lies was priceless! She had a great p.r. team. She's such a goody two shoes that not only does she always tell the truth, but her kids and grandkid always tell the truth. Yeah right. Never once did she say she was sorry and ashamed for causing others pain, it was never her intention, it was just a tasteless joke, which is what I imagine a real non racist would say.

Paula Deen did not deserve to lose her job as a Food Network star. Those people who fired her should be ashamed of themselves. I'd like to give those people a hard punch in the face for doing that to a good loving person. 😠😡😠😠😡😠😠😡😠

I disagree ... she has always been a fake ass phony. crockadile tears all the way. She sold fatty diabetic food to a market while she knew she had diabetes... than she monetized the medicine. She lost everything. Good riddance! This coming from a white guy.

I love Paula but she could have been up for an academy award here for best dramatic actress. Had she come on the show and just said something to the effect of “yes, I have used that word. I’m not proud of it and I understand I’ve hurt many people with this admission, but we all make mistakes and I ask for your forgiveness.” She probably could have halved the backlash she received.

If the N word is so offensive witch it is no nobody should be using it
@shariscott95383 жыл бұрын
That should be the rule but it's not. A skinny person can't call somebody fat. But fat ppl say it to each other all the time. A man can't call a woman a bitch. But females call each other bitches. Your close family can call you names that don't have the same value as if a stranger says it. That's the rule.

Paula Deen is the best woman and cook ever. I'm a very southern country boy from North Carolina and I don't hate blacks but we have used the word a few times both us whites and blacks and I got black friends who love paula Deen and wish she would have never been fired but shes on KZbin now. I believe paula. Paula deserves a second chance shes loved by many and shes the best. Paula Deen should still be on qvc food network and still have all her shows.

But she is what she is ain't she ain't changing...so that means she doesn't plan to not offend more ppl by using slurs 🤷🏾♀️ We all wish she handled it differently but she was more concerned about herself at the moment instead of making the correction to move forward

Yet gangbangers call each other that all the time and it's on the radio in songs by blacks themselves so it really depends on WHO is saying it if it's acceptable or not right???? Such hypocrisy I would have denied it to my last breath.
@vernonscloset4 ай бұрын
Yes, “gangbangers” use it toward each other because it’s a word that was used against them and now they’ve taken it back. It’s the only thing Black folks have gentrified. Let them have it.
