Favorite comic of all time, but this bit did her no justice. 4 minutes is simply not enough time for her type of humor. She's all about the improv, and you need time to build up a rapport with the audience.

eh - she's had better moments (she's much better with a smaller more "intimate" audience) - on the plus side, have never seen Paula look hotter. Good grief, what happened? It's more than just age - maybe if she stopped trying to look like a man?

She had to sober up after she was arrested for being drunk and not taking care of her foster children. She molested one of them. Cleaned up her act and now she can't be as funny anymore. Sad.

Actually what happened was the child lied to the authorities, made up those allegations as a way to get back at Ms. Poundstone who had disciplined the child for misbehaving. The little brat made up a moelestation story to get revenge. Later the girl came forward, told the truth and those allegations or charges were dropped. As far as looking like a Man that is her trademark look. she said she loved the 80's and had to have everything with the padded shoulder look. and then did jokes about her hair which was always parted on the side heavier on one than the other, her style later on. Her dry subtle humor and observations always put a smile on my face when I needed it.

It's amazing how people remember an accusation the child made but forget that the same child admitted to lying about it. Why believe the first and not the second? This is a real person you're talking about here. How would you like it if someone kept repeating a vicious, nasty lie about you that almost ruined YOUR life?

She's not that funny anymore. Unfortunately, when she sobered up she just is not as comic. Pity.
