Thanks for the shoutout! ❤ By the way, I think you look beautiful but yes, it definitely needed the root spray and I really love how you defined each curl, I have to try that! 👍 I can honestly tell you that I haven’t worn mine yet either because I like more volume and without permatease it’s hard to achieve that! For styling I do love the wig wax spray and sometimes a combination of that and the JR piece out cream works best for me! In the winter months I always think blondes look too blonde on me but then in the summer I love them. So maybe just put it away until summer and then maybe wear it out after work but not to work. I do that where I have work only wigs and then fun wigs! lol 😂 💛🤗😘

Dawn, you can make any wig workable! You did wonders with sheer drama. My first or only sheer drama was more wavy than curly and I had her for a long time but the top was unruly so I steamed her and afterward she looked very realistic. Yours at first looked wild but you tamed her as usual! It's a shame that didn't have a lace front because of the band showing. The root spray really helped, Dawn. However for the life of me I wonder what's up with quality control? Don't they ever check?

I don't think they really have much to work with in the Quality department - I'm sure they don't budget for many units to be of poor quality - so if we can figure out how to take what we get and pull a rabbit out of the hat, we Win 🥳

Dawn, so much you said I too struggle with. I'm a right hand parter as well. Finn, I absolutely can't get right on me. I see others in Finn, and it looks great, but the front for me just won't sit right. I just bought Sheer Drama from PY after seeing many reviews and a great sale. I've taken it out, tried it on, and no messing up because I'm struggling with whether to send it back or not and wonder what the heck was I thinking. But I love Storyville, so I don't want to give up. Especially at the great price for a fully hand tied cap. Just a note about this fit of Sheer Drama. It is all hand tied and hand tied wigs fit smaller because there isn't the ability to stretch as much.

Is your Sheer Drama in a rooted color? I know for me, I didn't know what the heck I was thinking when I pulled it out of its box - I must have been out of my mind - impulse to say the least, so I know exactly what you are saying... It can be shocking to see our face surrounded in the appearance of hair out mind will not accept it! Having a root (that you can add yourself) can make a tremendous difference in getting your mind wrapped around the look it is seeing in the mirror. I don't really ever return wigs because I don't get enough back to go through the hassle of returning. Do you struggle with Sheer Drama in the front and how the top lays or just everything about it over all... is the length too long, things like that... I might be able to help if you want to

I think for daytime makeup , the color of the wig washes you out. But I can definitely see you wear that one up with night time makeup. You would be a knock out! I love how you rooted the front. I like that you trimmed it too. It really is sheer Drama! Thanks for sharing!

I love the style I think a warmer color like the 27 or the 30 they're beautiful natural Auburn colors but they're not loud I think they would look really nice with your skin tone but I love this style I'm gonna try it❤

Oh good Karen, It turned out good but I wasn't quite sure in the beginning - I'm not gonna lie! I would recommend having a piece out cream of sorts really when she comes because it will come pretty limp and you will want to give her some "bones" or "body" to get her to sit up and pay attention, if you will 💖

Dawn, I use Fill In Powder. That is the brand. It comes with a stippling brush. Much easier to use than that spray stuff. Try altering your makeup a little. You need more color. You will make that wig work!

Many of your wigs do not have a lace front, is that because of the itching? Lace front itch me a lot but I use a thin layer of Got2Be glue as a barrier. I also use sticky scin colored scar tape in the parting space (on the inside) to hide my darker har of wig grip You sure have a talent to work with wigs and make them work for you

Hey Wendy 👋 I was thrown off that this didn't come with a lace front because of the cap construction having so many bells and whistles (complete mono top and all hand tied) what were THEY thinking, other than you would like a swooping bang to cover it? I can't do swooping bang lol... True be told, lace front wigs are totally detectable on me! No seriously! I wear self tan and bronzer and it gets into the lace and creates a line within an hour of wear so I opt out when possible - and it saves me coins too 🎉

I've gotten put in a lot more Root spray - I have seen some pull out their own Hair Line to blend into the front so it isn't so noticeable... I just don't know how they could put so many features into the cap and do nothing for the front 🤔

I know this happens to me when I have too much stress going on in my life and I impulse by in the middle of the night and I don’t even remember buying things and then I receive stuff in the mail and I’m like yeah I remember looking at that but I did I order it, now that I have Shop app it sends it right there and I know immediately so I can see the next day if I purchased anything turning my mania in the middle of the night! I commend you Dawn for reviewing this but OMG, that wig is a little to be desired..... It's not your fault at all, but PY wigs seems to be getting worse and worse.... Why would you make a hand-tied wig with a cap that stark blonde?? It doesn't even look natural. I would try adding a root with the spray and then spraying the heck out of the cap as well. The dark root would add some color back in to that light blonde. I agree, these models the brands use must get a different version of the wigs than the general public does...
