@@lehec Yeah, I could tell that Ruth was in a lot of pain pushing her sister out of the group but in the end Ruth did right by June because she was heading down a very destructive path and she just couldn't let that happen because it would have ruined the group.

@@CelesteKTheNewWaveRevue It must be very hard for her. I supposed Anita thought like Ruth. The group never been the same and never did reach the same level of success without June. We can't change the past but sometimes I wish they could have found someone or something to change her bad habits and addictions that ruined her career. They were all talented and so pretty but June had something special that sparkled and energized the group.

Hi Tank, I'm a huge Pointer Sisters fan from NY. I love the 70s Pointer Sisters best. I have Car Wash and a lot more on DVD video. Bonnie is my favorite with Ruth being next. I love them all including June. June was the bubbly one in the 80s while Bonnie was the bubbly one in the 70s. I have an amazing photo collection too.

I meant to add that I wish the Pointer Sisters had a bigger role in Car Wash. I happen to also be a big Donna Summer fan. Donna had a bigger role in the movie Thank God It's Friday but I feel Car Wash was a better movie.
