I hope you remembered mustard! I shop at Publix, Costco and Walmart Neighborhood Market. I know you're trying to cut back on sugar but if you're feeling a sweet tooth coming on, go pick up the Publix cheesecake. You can get individual pieces of it too. It's the best cheesecake around in my opinion. I have not tried the Costco cheesecake though. Cary is getting a couple of Wegmans grocery stores which is supposed to be the mecca of all grocery stores. I've never been but a lot of people from the upper east coast say it's amazing. A German grocery called Lidl is also coming to the area and possibly a Sprouts which is along the lines of Whole Foods. So yeah..we have a TON of grocery stores here! Not many gas stations though..at least not near me..so strange that there's so few in my area. 🤔 Have a great week!

The fresh fruit will make you feel more full then the dried fruit cause of the water content. Love me some dried cherries though! 😍🍒 I hate sneaky added sugar too! Such a pain when you're trying to limit your sugar.

A tip for the chicken that I do (actually for all meat and left overs) I portion it into meal sizes, plastic wrap it then freeze it!! That way you can buy cheaper and have it not go bad!! Also if I have any yogurt that is close to the best before date, i cut a small hole in the top and pop in a Popsicle stick or tip it into an ice block mold and freeze them to make frozen yogurt! In summer I buy yogurt to do that anyways because its better than ice cream lol

Just some help for you and Shannon as you try and eat better--fruits are very high in sugars anyways. It is best to eat them in small portions. So no it would not have been good to get those dried fruits as a snack you would sit and binge eat like you would with chips. Especially if you're watching sugars. But don't disregard fruits because they still are helpful! I don't know much about health but since I've started watching my food intake as well I've learned a lot and that's something I found out too. Good luck on your health journey! I enjoy these grocery store vlogs!

Hi, it is hard to compere sugar in fruit with other things because sugar is the main thing in fruit. The interesting part is how much sugar is added to the product. Sorry for my bad English. Marie from Sweden

😮😮😮😮😮😮 My big brother has worked for Publix for 20 years so we have always gone. Their prices are a little more than some but I know you guys like to eat as organic as possible and they have a line of organic meats called Greenwise. They do beef, chicken and pork and it is amazing. And their bakery honestly will change your life. Please do a video of you trying out Publix for the first time!

I kinda think that you would actually like Wholefoods. I like their bakery section mostly but I am able to sometimes find foods there that I cant anywhere else. I was cooking a Spaghetti squash and couldn't find one anywhere till I went to Wholefoods. Turns out they weren't really in season when I Was looking but they still had a few.

Paul, you should take that Olive Garden Creamy Italian and use it to marinate chicken breast and just bake it. It is really good and I am not a fan of Italian dressing. Also, you are baking the chicken (and maybe even potato wedges) so it is healthier right? 😉😄💙

Paul in the box! Talk about a misfit toy!!! LOLOL Just curious.... why don't you buy the cheaper chicken and wrap it foil and freeze it..... that's what I do.... and it works fine. Do you have to pay to shop at Costco? I can remember when Sam's Club first opened, you had to pay to shop.... then because my parents were over 55, they could go in for free, but they had to pay five percent over the cost...... so, they figured it was cheaper to pay for a year...... sometimes you gotta be really careful.... those stores are impulse buy TRAPS! But I LOVE GOING SHOPPING WITH YOU!!!!!!

Fruit does have sugar in it naturally but all these products had sugar added which is why the sugar per serving size was so high
