I dont understand the entitlement that the US Govt has where we should accept a forced change of owners for tiktok as if the US was totally transparent with our Data ( they probably would give it to israel ). If I were china and shit comes to shove I would just go with the decentralized route myself and choose/develop a blockchain and then start transforming accounts to non custodial wallets.

They have a very small chance of being the successful bidder, if it ever gets that far. AT&T, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon etc all have a much stronger chance of having the capital necessary to win the bidding process. The idea of TikTok running on Polkadot has a very, very, low chance of success. If the platform is decentralised and proceeds of ad and data revenue are supposed to go to the users of the platform, how do the billions get paid back? It should be made clear that this is a 1 in a 1000 chance.

Sure they have more capital, but they’re highly centralized in nature and their infrastructure… the whole point here is for tiktok to onboard on decentralised tech, do these companies have that? Or would they arrange it?

Well PolkaDot is a great project yes…but we have to be honest it need better marketing leadership and it need to change locking Periode now, not tomorrow and the inflation problem. Polka is underperforming BIG time and it have to change exstreamly fast and the leadership is at that point failing BIG time and have to think more strategically and not only develop develop, it will like always lead to challenges. So what will you do Polka??? We are in a bull market but we all do not see the Bull, and as the Jam update will be after 2025, what to exspect more then a cancelled Bull run for Dot.
