Hello Sir.. thank you for the video presentation... When it comes to awe, doesn't our sinful nature make us attract the things that are temporal and quick to access or gratify? As Christians, we often know that entertainment by fixating in front of the TV (in these days) is not food for the soul nor edifying but it's easy and doesn't require any effort from our end and that is why we often choose it... What happens in the pursuit of God is that it demands our energy, thought, intellect, fight against sin and so on.. the rewards are good, and it leaves us in awe. The sermons become boring in my view is because of familiarity, but when we see it relating to us or talks to us in our situation, it takes our attention. So if getting the attention of people or awe is the order of the day... what would fill us with awe from what I inferred above?

Is losing the presence of God similar to losing awe of Him?
@cpmow8317 жыл бұрын
I would say no. Because God is ever present with you. His presence is how he comes down to us. Awe, is recovering and viewing his presence, due to his condescension
