Love it. Remember seeing you guys playing this on the whistle test when I was about 14 and going to school the next day raving about the band. Pure rock and roll spirit . And you have had a fantastic career since too. Total respect mate.

One of my favourite tunes of all time. Captures the essence and spirit of what rock n roll is all about in my book, especially the whistle Test performance! Kudos to you Paul for doing this , thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it .

What on earth inspired you as a.teenager to play such a great bass part rather than just root notes? At that time I'd never heard lemmy or Burnel etc, bass was in the background.

Is that not the same Rickenbacker that was used on the Whistle Test on 28/02/1978? Just wondering as P.G states this bass is a 1979 and it looks very much like the Whistle Test bass to my eye!
