Weapons of our Warfare live is played a little faster than on the album -- I was one of the people who called Deliverance a Metallica-clone in the 1990s as I discovered Master of Puppets when I was 18 as I was trying to form a dark thrash metal band where I drew from both Bay Area, Canadian Thrash and East Coast Thrash. I was late to the European Thrash metal movement as Seventh Angel introduced me to British Thrash. Deliverance had NWBHM style vocals with a Bay area thrash delivery.

Wish I saw these guys live back in the early 90's. I had to special order their DVDs back then when I was in art school in Philly.

Is that Chris Hyde on the drums? You can see him at the 4:41 mark. Cameraman is constantly on the wrong guitar during solos. 1990, the year that I moved to Maui.

Dude,was this the same show as Bride at Fontana HS in California?
@mylesmilliman61664 жыл бұрын
I don't think so. I was at the Fontana show and as I remember the stage set up was a bit different. I don't remember those steps going up the drum riser. But Deliverance was great that day, as was Bride. Were you there too?
@darrellwood39134 жыл бұрын
Myles Milliman I must have went to the 91 show when Bride headlined.I don’t remember Deliverance playing that day.
@mylesmilliman61664 жыл бұрын
@@darrellwood3913 Apparently I was wrong. Here is a link to the Bride set from that day. kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGjMmWesrap0e7M Notice the same stair steps as we see in the this Deliverance vid. It seems that this was all '90, and now, I'm pretty sure, the same Fontana show. That was a great little mini--festival, a fun day. Cool to hear from someone else who was there!

Do you really feel comfortable with that judgmental attitude? What does the Bible say about that? Something about a "speck" and a "log?" Recall that?
@uwique6 жыл бұрын
