Must say you are correct, he was beaten by the better stronger man. If Brook is being honest about the damaged eye, I believe he should consider retirement. The thought of the injury and long term injury, will play on his mind. Thought Errol used his strengths better in the early rounds than Kell which set the pattern. Understood that Errol would attack body but was surprised Kell carried his left lead so low allowing himself to be caught with to many jabs on his eye. It was clear to me Kells left hock counter was not working due to bad timing or Errol's superior defensive technique. Errol was more effective in the trenches and took short breaks at the right time. A powerful and intelligent craftsman at work. Props to his team who obviously did there homework. Looking fwd to what's next for him. (Keith Thurman) Respect my man.

I think there's less of a risk of that in the US than in the UK honestly, look at the scorecards for Ward vs Froch and they were way closer than they should've been despite it being in the US, whereas a lot of people thought Dirrell got robbed vs Froch in the UK (dunno if I'd go that far but I think he should've won and Froch got away with a tonne of rabbit punches)

I never really thought about that angle where non US promoters don't sign US fighters often. It's understandable in part because the US has a great boxing avenue, but you would think that lesser guys with solid amateur careers would get foreign looks. It's a trip because basketball is tops here in the US for men, but many 2nd and 3rd tier players make a good living playing ball overseas. I would imagine that many US fighters who don't have the big backing could carve out solid careers abroad, and then if they prove their worth, could still have big US fights. That's kind of strange, and if I didn't have a Top Rank, Al Haymon, Golden Boy, Lou Dibella type wanting me, I would try to see if I could relocate and try the UK. Some of the guys I've seen on BoxNation and SkySports be talked about like they're something, would be dominated if they left home.
