I understood Jaques is offering some sort of agreement, related to indemnization. But I didn't quite get why Paulo is so upset, something related to his homosexuality? Paulo is really funny, first he didn't anyone to find out he was gay and now he wants to be out and proud, pushing Miguel along.

He only didn't want people to know because he could lose his job. But since that is happening, he has no need to hide it anymore - he's out and proud. Plus, he can't ask Miguel to be all in their relationship if he himself is not.

Jacques is blaming Paulo for the plane crash and will only drop his lawsuit if Paulo and Miguel say that they were not fired because they are gay.

deepdarkmidnight DDM I agree with that. Any time Miguel finds it slightly difficult that he's in a relationship with a man, Paulo gets sooo pissed. It's difficult for Miguel, not because he dislikes the relationship, but as it's all new to him. For most of his life, he's acted, thought and felt a certain way, now its all been turned on it's head.

I can just pick up those few lines of their talk in the bedroom: Paulo is like: You don't want to understand it, don't you? Miguel: Understand what? Paulo: I don't care about the money! It's a matter of principle! And I can totally understand him. I don't think he's overreacting. It's not just something, that's unfair in general, that can upset you. It affects him personally. He is the one, who has to look for a new job. He is the one who has to deal with the discrimination. And he doesn't want Jaques to get through with it and possibly do the same thing to others. I think Miguel just wants to forget everything and go on with their new life. Paulo had to deal with that stuff before and can't just let it go.

Margaret Allen It's a shame that they can't do more to attain justice. Luckily, according to the preview this subject will be settled on Friday. Satisfying outcome or not, Paulo and Miguel will at least stop fighting over it. :)

The highlight of this relationship has been.... non existent. Every other episode is an argument and they show no affection what so ever towards each other. The writers need to think about the mentality of people in new relationships. Paulo's bickering is getting extremely annoying at this point. He is not the only one is this situation and if Miguel wants to move on and start their lives anew then Paulo should listen and consider their happiness.
